The snow conditions are excellent for this first weather report for mid-November 2019! Romain
Our first photo was already taken even before our arrival at the resort! We can see a clear road, but the approaches are completely covered with a thick layer of snow which covers all the roughness, making the landscape magical as you approach the station.
When we arrived, it was hard not to go to the snow front to get as close as possible to the slopes. From the traces visible in the powder, it is obvious that some could not resist the temptation of a short hike in sealskins.
The ski lifts are working to welcome the first skiers as well as possible on December 14, 2019. While the staff is installing the markings and the safety elements, the snow guns are taking advantage of favorable weather conditions to supplement the thickness with artificial snow.
Suffice to say that the atmosphere is clearly winter sports in Vars Les Claux.
