Vars, perched at 1,850 meters, combines a festive spirit with a magnificent alpine panorama. The Vars ski area, part of the extensive Forêt Blanche ensemble (with Risoul), boasts 185 km of marked slopes (116 runs) and 50 ski lifts, including many high-speed chairlifts. The maximum vertical drop is 1,100 m, and snow coverage is ensured by over 320 snow cannons. The area is known for its large snowparks, boardercross, and very accessible freeride zones.
